Upcoming Update of presenterCue

Dear clients, 

we know, most of you cannot wait for iOS 11 and MacOS 10.13 support. Well, the good thing is - it's close. Very close. We will likely release a major update for presenterCue Server (MacOS) and both client versions (MacOS and iOS) in November this year. -> we're a little bit behind schedule … therefore we expect the first release candidate in January 2018 

Update

That's what we're working on: 

• Timed presets - start a preset at a certain time
• "pre event presets" - configure a preset to automatically count down to a certain time.
• "Auto Follow" presets - these presets will automatically start, when the current preset ends.
• some general settings (i.e. Flash at End, Show Overdue) will now be preset related.
• reminder for the operator, before the countdown finishes. 
• pay audio files at the warning times and at the end of a countdown
• show messages whilst the countdown is on the screen
• iOS client for iOS 11
• MacOS server / client for MacOS 10.13
• connection feedback from the clients, visible in the server interface. This will let you know, if a client disconnected. 
• … and more

CloudConnect

We are also working on a new (payable) extension for presenterCue - we named it "CloudConnect" - imagine you're running a video conference. By now, you can show the local speakers the countdown - with CloudConnect you can generate a link for your show, distribute this link to the technicians on the far ends - and they can open the countdown in a browser window - controlled by the host location. We think you'd like that.

MultiRoom

By the way - we also have a multi room extension which might be useful for breakout sessions during congresses - with this extension you can control several independent clients from one single server instance. This extension is already available - but still quite poorly documents. We'll change that soon. 

YouTube Tutorials

Within the next weeks we will produce a series of tutorial videos for presenterCue - explaining the basic functions, the interface as well as the more sophisticated functions and extension (e.g. the Decklink Extension, MultiRoom Extension and for sure CloudConnect) - stay tuned.
