UI

Looks like a great product but very difficult UI, and no simple instructional support.  I'm sure you would sell more if you gave simple visual communication

Dear Coln,

thanks for your valuable feedback … have a look at youtube.com/nominari - there are some small videos which will likely help you with the UI. We're currently working on an major update of presenterCue and we will also produce quite a lot of new videos as soon as we're about to release the new version (which will likely happen in November this year)

Hi Thanks for the very prompt Feedback  I coordinate a weekly BNI meeting with up to 40 speakers giving 45-60 secs presentations, and one 10 minute presentation.  This is in a single venue room.  I love the capability of Presenter Cue, but it took me hours to figure it out.  I don't want to project the full UI, so I guess I must purchase a license of Presenter Client.  Would this allow me to control the presentations on my MAC, and send only the Timer image to an iPad, and project form the iPad? - please confirm.  iPads are running IOS 11  Also please confirm price of single Client license Thx Colin

Hi Coln,

this is correct - if you want to show the timer fullscreen without the controls, you'd need to purchase a license. The basic concept of presenterCue is a "Server/Client" scenario - in other words: the presenterCue application functions as a "server", whereas the presenterCue Client applications shows the timer fullscreen.

We provide two different client applications - one for MacOS and one for iOS. Both communicate via Bonjour networking with the server - therefore you can run the MacOS client fullscreen on a second screen on the same computer you use to run the server application, or on another mac in the same network - alternatively you can run the iOS client application on an iOS device of your choice and connect this device to the same network like the computer running the server application.

Additionally we do offer the "Decklink Extension" - which will output a fullscreen timer on one of the Blackmagic Design UltraStudio devices. With this extension and one of the UltraStudio devices, you can feed an HD-SDI signal directly to an SDI capable monitor or a video switcher (e.g. the ATEM Production Studio 1M/E). This extension would require at least a single-seat STD license.

In terms of pricing - please have a look here:

Some additional remarks:

As already mentioned - we're currently working on an major update of presenterCue - therefore the current version does not support MacOS 10.13 High Sierra and it does not support iOS 11 by now. The update which we will release in November this year will do so.

When is this promised update now due??
